Un meurtre sur la piste de danse… Slurp !

    1. A man and his plan

I’d rate the script 5/5 because it’s really well done.

For the acting, I’d rate it 5/5 because the actors are really good.

For the visuals I’d rate it 4/5, because the sets are generally well chosen and beautiful and the visuals was good.

For the audio, I’d rate it 3/5, because there were times when I felt the sound wasn’t as good. But in generally the song was good.

Personally I liked this movie  because I was immediately immersed in it and the way the director created the story is really well done, The story is really intriguing and « astonishing » because I wasn’t expecting it, but it’s immediately addictive. I liked the moment when we see that he had planned everything, as well as the moment when we see that he punctures the tire to help her afterwards, which is really surprising. There are certain moments when the scenes are a little weird, like the bathtub scene. I also liked the actors chosen for this film, as they are good actors and fit in well with the film. I recommend watching it because it’s really good.

  5. Two people in one

    Scenario: 4*
    Acting: 5*
    Visual: 4*
    Audio: 4*

I really enjoyed this film, because it kept you immersed in the story and wanting to go further each time to find out what happened next. I like it when the story is touching. What I also liked was that it could have been a real story, and I don’t like most fiction. On the other hand, there were a few moments in the film that I didn’t really appreciate. Thanks to these scenes, we learn more and more about who Oliver really is. The story isn’t always straightforward, but I liked the fact that at the end there’s a little recap of everything Oliver had planned. Thanks to this, we really understand all the details of the film and can definitely see that Oliver had it all planned. The story is so well done that at first you have no idea that everything was planned and that Oliver is a huge manipulator. I really loved the film for me it’s one of the best films I’ve seen if not the best. The acting is impeccable. I think the actor who plays Oliver does it really well. I think one of these days I’ll even watch it again.

  6. The dead’s castle

In my opinion, I though the acting was really good. Especially Felix who plays the popular, handsome guy very wel. Oliver does also a great job portraying the creepy and weird man. For that I’d give a score of 4.

However, I found the script rather banal apart from the 2/3 embarrassing scenes. On a scale from zero to five, I’d give 2/5.

As far as the music and the visuals are concerned, I’d give this film a score of 4/5 because I think the music is really the hits of the moment, which is quite rare, and I think it’s really well shot. It really gets us into the mood of the movie.

Overall, I found the film not bad at all, the director managed to make us feel a lot of strange emotions and I think that’s what he was trying to do. Oliver acts really really good because sometimes I felt weirds emotions. I even though him discusting. However, I did get bored at times. Fortunately, I wanted to get to the bottom of the story. The main question that I asked myself was: « Why everybody die? »So that’s what kept me going.

  7. Love Kills

I give 5/5 for the scénario, 5/5 for the acting, 4/5 for the visual, 3.5/5 for the audio.

The feeling I get when watching this film is very special. I’m very mixed, I don’t know if I appreciated or disparaged the film. For me, a film is tasteless if it fails to arouse emotions in me that torment me or push me to think. So what is certain is that it is a good film.

The strong points of the film lie in the performance of the actors, the psychology of the characters and the execution and beauty of the scenes. Some of them are shocking, of course. It’s because of this that I don’t necessarily have a good feeling when watching this film. But we have to admit that everything is fluid, coherent, well filmed, and well produced. The emotions are transmitted, and it is gripping. While watching I didn’t notice the time passing, and despite the discomfort caused, they still manage to keep us in suspense for a good two hours.

So in the end it was still a good film.

  8. The mad man.

    Scenario : 3
    Acting : 5
    Visual : 5
    Audio :5

I’ve just watched Saltburn and I don’t know what to think about it. The acting is great. The main actor played his role perfectly. I never Saw him before so for me he will stay the completly crazy drinking bath water man. The others played good too but he take all the fame. I like a lot the visual, the plans were gorgeous, the colors, … Every images were wonderfull and wisely choose. I love movie with good visuals. Sometimes if the visuals are really good the story pass after. And here it’s the case, I don’t Like the scenar, I found it very strange and disturbing. It was way too strange for me, I don’t know what the scriptwritter smoked but I think this was really good quality. Maybe this help for choosing wonderfull music. Choosing classical music is a great Idea, all those musics were perfectly chose. This kind of music gave a the film a more strange part in the good way.
Even if the scenar was horrible, I still apreciate this movie, he was quite interesting. This is a really good film thanks to the music, the actors and the visuals. I recommand it.

  9. A strange story

I found this movie quite special but the end made me really like the movie, Oliver is so special but so smart especially when we understand that he had organized everything.

The scenario is rather nice even if there are rather weird scenes like the one in the bath. I think the one who had the idea of this movie is a little crazy after the general idea is really cool especially when you understand the outcome.

For the scenario I think , I would giving four stars.

The acting on the other hand he was really incredible, the actors really knew how to transport us. The actor who plays Oliver is very talented because he really looks like a psychopath.

So for the acting I would giving 5 stars.

The visual is very good, the scenery and landscapes ares incredible. The castle « Saltburn » is beautiful and I like that because it’s like summer.

For the visual I would like giving 5 stars.

The audio is amazing. The music is incredible especially that of the final scene « murder on the floor », I like this music.

For audio I would giving 5 stars also.

In the end I would say it’s a pretty nice movie but not for everyone

  10. murder on the dance floor

This movie is really intriguin, I don’t even know how to react to it. I hate it but also find it had a great story behind, therefor I give it a 4 out of 5 in the scenario. I give the acting a 4 out of 5 acting was really good even thought I hated it, I don’t understand how they are able to play these roles. I give the visuals a 3 out of five because it looked normal just like a foto it did not catch my eye. And for the audio I give it a 2,5 mainly because some of the audio boost they did were disgusting and they had better done it at other moments to strike on poeple. Even thought I gave the scenario and acting great marks does not mean I liked that movie. I would not recommend it beacause I did not like the way they acted even if they were good at it, it was disturbing. And above everything I will not ever watch this movie again. But the way the story is told (like he is telling Elspeth everything that happend) is very cool it is really well done from them.

  11. Psychopath

I think this movie is a good movie but I don’t realy understand the scenario. For me it was complicated to follow the history. At first it’s just a men who love an other men. It’s ok but after we understands he just hate him. I’m a little bit confused because when I watch the trailer I thought it just will be a movie with an history to the family in vacations without the weird things…

For the scenario I put 3/5. It was a good scenario in general, it was well written. It was a good plot because until the end we can’t know the end. But it’s just not my type of movie.

Then for the acting it’s a completely different opinion, I give a mark of 5/5. The acting is just amazing, Oliver play his role very well and the others too but i think the role of Oliver is more complicated.

About the audio I don’t have a problem it was good. When there was a suspense on the screen, the song followed with a plot sound. It was good but I don’t put 5/5 because for me the acting is a level above audio. So it’s a 4/5.

And then, the visual it’s a 3/5. The combination of audio and visual was perfect. But… It’s my opinion but the weird part of the movie bothered me so I don’t enjoy the movie like I wanted. Apart from that the movements of the camera and editing of the movie were very well and everything was fluid, so it was pleasant to watch.

  12. Saltburn : Not really a « family film ».

I would like to share with you my honest review about the film Saltburn.

    Scenario : 3/5

The begining was too long and not very interesting, and some scene were too strange, especially the « vampire scene ». This scene shocked me so much. But the story was really good at the end when we discover that Oliver is a psychopath (sorry for the spoil).

    Acting : 5/5

Acting was really good, especially Oliver. He is really brave to dance naked in front of a camera. And it is not censored. I am verry impressive. He was really good for the emotions too. I wanted to believe that he was honest even though I knew he was a psychopath.

    Visual : 4/5

Visual was so disgusting sometimes. They went to far in some scene. For example the « bathroom scene », the « vampire scene » and the « grave scene ». But if you remouve these scenes, the film lose its depht and its atmosphere. But without that the film is visually perfect.

    Audio : 4/5

It was very understundable for a english learner even though it was a little bit too fast and strange. But this film has a very good atmosphere and very good music.

In summary, I didn’t really like this film because it was not my style. But objectively it is a good film with its style and its atmosphere.

  13. Murder on the dance floor

I’ll give a 4 out of 5, because this movie is mind fucking. It’s great, really, the plot twists is amazing, I wasn’t expecting that. But there were strange scene still. The bath scene ? The grave scene ? I don’t know who wrote this but he had serious problems, or a message to spend maybe ?

But the acting was incredible, i give it a 5 out of 5, everything seems so real. But poor Oliver’s actor, i won’t see him the same ever again. The actors really made this movie excellent. Felix on top, the sister, the mother, the dad, the cousin, everybody fits their roles perfectly.

For the visual, i am not an expert so I don’t really see the difference with the others movies. But anyways, in my opinion, they filmed it great, it think it’s worth giving a 5 out of 5. The castle, the school, it’s all a universe. We can clearly see the difference between the real world and their British-rich world.

And finally for the audio, I’ll give it a 5 out of 5. Because the sound made everything. The bath tube isn’t that disgusting if we take the sound off. The silence wouldn’t be SO silent if there weren’t any back sound, like the rain and the stuff like that. The silence was silent and loud at both time and that’s well done.

anyway, great movie with great actors. GREAT

  14. Opinion of the year

-For the scenario I would give five stars on five because we did not expected the end of salt burn

-For the acting I would give five stars also because I really liked the movie and mostly the acting of the actors.

-For the visual I would give four stars on five, the visual was a little bit dated and I thought it was not bad it looked good.

-the audio was good but not incredible, I would give three stars on five because there are not some great moments where the song is incredible. But the music was really cool I liked it

I really liked the movie because I really like the actors and the end of it.

I think the beginning of salt burn was a little bit slow but in the end it was more fast. I like this movie also because it change of the other movie it was very original. But it’s true that there were a few rather special scenes, but that didn’t mind  that  much . But all in all it was a good film and I would recommend it.

  15. As far as I am concerned , I think that the film was entertaining but very confusing .

There are full of unexpected plot twist .

I certainly would recommend the film , and here´s why , because even if the visuals of certains scenes where well realised, such as when they are around the swimming pools , the scenario of certain moments in the film was very awkward ,such as the scene in the bath or when Oliver goes to visit Felix’s grave.

Personnaly , I believe that de acting was thrilling , in fact I tought Felix’s acting was really good . I enjoyed the scene where Félix discovers at Oliver’s parents’ house that oliver has been lying all along.

As far as the audio was concerned , I found certain scenes very intersting , such as the scenes where they are in a wheat fiels with the sound of crickets , but also certain scenes that were strange and uncomfortable , such as the scene where Oliver drinks the water from the bathtub .

In conclusion , I give it 3.5/5 for the visuals, 4/5 for the acting, 3.5/5 for the audio and 3/5 for the scenario . I would recommend this film if you enjoy the moments of discomfort, otherwise I think it’s a waste of time .

  17. The mysterious imposter:

I would give a score of five out of five for the acting because the actors are credible and we feel the emotions on their face.

I would put two or three stars of five for the scenario because the story is well found despite this strange side. For example when at the end we realize that Oliver had planned everything. But I didn’t like the beginning because I found that nothing was happening and it was boring.

The visual is very nice. I would put five out of five stars. It’s very well filmed and the shades color are perfect.

For the audio, I would give a score of three stars of five because we understand very well but sometimes they do not articulate very well and so for us who don’t speak English everyday it can be complicated to understand.

For my opinion, I find that the revelation at the end of the film step up the level of the whole film. Then, as I said above, I find that the film is still strange but apart that I liked. This is not my favorite film style. With this film I discovered actors that I had never seen in other films. I had heard about this film on Instagram and so I already knew the music and they are very good. The character of oliver pissed me off. That is for my opinion.
And you what did you think?

  18. The vampire of the bath

I don’t really like the scenario until the first death. The story is a little bit annoying but after felix dies there is so many unexpected plot twists and it begins to be interesting. I give it a three on five because I had trouble getting in.

About the acting, I think that the characters are really weird especially the main character. The acting is good but often awkward because of the scenario so some scenes bothered me. I give it a four because they manage to make us feel emotions and make us like or not the characters through the screen.

I really like the visual. I like the colours, the old-fashioned effect, the lights,… It creates a nice atmosphere. I give it a 5 because it makes the movie better and it’s well done.

For the audio, I give it a four because the music and the sound were good but sometimes the characters didn’t speak clearly so I didn’t understand everything.

At the beginning, I didn’t really like the movie because there were no real plot twist and some scenes were disgusting. But I did not expect this end so it became interesting even if there were always weird scenes. I like the vibe of the movie.

    Aimé par 1 personne

  19. I think this is a great movie but who’s not for everyone because there is some really weird scene that can be shocking. For the scenario I will put 4/5. The scenario is very well written and the story is incredible. The producer is a genius because she can make us feel the movie even in one of the first scene she makes us feel bad (the scene with the egg) because we see that Oliver has nothing to do in saltburn. But I remove a point because of the scene with the headstone, the scene with felix sister’s when Oliver says « I’m a vampire » because he want to eat her but she has her manstruation or even the scene when Oliver drink the water of the bath after that felix has… because I think those aren’t really necessary. And I think that the beginning is a bit too long and on the opposite the end is fast. Acting 5/5. The actors are really great. They are in there roles. There is no mistake. Visual 5/5. The visual is very great. The camera scene is beautifull. The place of the shooting is well choose. The castle is a great choice for the rich family because it’s really big and already in the beginning we see it because Felix introduce the house to Oliver and don’t know how to describe the room because he never use it. Audio 5/5. All the music of the movie are perfect with the scene they are in. And this is some great song.

  20.   Sunset haven ( Saltburn)

The movie is produced by Emerald Fennell.

    To briefly summarize the movie.

Oliver, who struggles to fit in at Oxford University, finds himself drawn into the world of aristocratic Felix Catton. Felix invites her to spend an unforgettable summer at Saltburn, the estate of his eccentric family.

I’ll give 2 stars for the scenario (2/5)

Personally I didn’t like this movie because there were too many uncomfortable moments for me. I think the story is quite nice but some scenes are too uncomfortable as I said so it’s not a film for me.

The acting was really good so I’ll give 4 stars for the acting (4/5).

Barry Keoghan (Oliver Quick) is very a talented actor. His acting in the movie was really good,  like I really like how he plays his role but I really don’t like the character he plays because he plays it so well. Jacob Elordi (Felix Catton) is a good actor too but I prefer the acting of Barry.

For the visual I found it was pretty good. So I can give 3 stars (3/5). The visual overall was not bad, there was no pixelated image.

The landscapes were really pretty. But sometimes the scene was too much like we don’t need to see we can pass.

And for the last criteria : the audio I want to give 5 stars (5/5). The actors didn’t have strong accents when they spoke it was understandable throughout. So that’s a good point.

  21. The mad deer

Why do I choose this name ?

Just because in the movie Ollie was disguise on a deer en mad cause of is madness in the movie.

    Scenario: 3/5

When a saw Saltburn I found de scenario good but sometimes too much difficult to understand. But if we look at the movie in general it’s really well scripted.

For the Acting I set a 5/5 because I have really really liked the acting of Barry Koeghan who played Oliver Quick. But also the others actors where fantastic like who played Duncan and Felix, it’s was wonderfull to see.

I also give 5/5 for de visual and the audio, even so sometimes I had some problems whit the subtitels and language but I was able to understand the situation with de visual so one put into the other made the deal perfect.

In my overall opinion, I really enjoyed the movie, it was over 2 hours of visual and audio bliss added to exceptional acting.

So I can recommend this film to anyone with an open mind, but I wouldn’t recommend it to children or anyone with a closed mind because it would be boring for us.

  22. The manipulative vampire

    -Scenario: 3/5
    – Acting: 4/5
    – Visual: 3.5/5
    – Audi: 3.5/5

In my opinion, this psychological thriller, produced by Emerald Fennell, is good but not extraordinary. The scenario was nice, but I didn’t like the middle part of the movie because,I think, there were a bit too many awkward and disgusting scenes. I didn’t understand their purpose very well, but without them, the plot would have been a little boring. When I saw the trailer, I thought it would be a simple love story, but it turned out to be much more than that! My favorite part was the end because the whole movie made sense, and I understood why the main character acted so strangely.

The acting was amazing, especially Barry Keoghan’s, he plays the main character! He was truly stunning, and his performance was captivating and remarkable!

I also appreciated the visual of the movie; it  was captivating and aesthetic. The landscapes were beautiful, but for some scenes, it was a bit too much. Globaly, it was very good.

The soundtrack and audio were well done, and the actors’ accents weren’t complicated to understand.

In conclusion, « Saltburn » is a nice movie, but it’s not a must-see for me.

  23. A plan for life

    scénario:4/5
I found the scenario very good. It was a lot of plot and I like all the actions during the movies. The productor kept the viewer interested in the film thanks to the action .
The end is very good because we discover all the plan of Oliver for infiltrated the family.    54

Acting:5/5The acting are perfect. The actors performed extremely well even though the scenes were very difficult. And even during the rather bizarre scenes, the actors played it perfectly so as not to find it too bizarre.92

Visual:4/5I thought the film’s visuals were pretty good overall. The camera movements were good and used the right technology at the right moments. The characters were zoomed in on when they needed to be, for example in the scene with Venetia and Oliver in the bathroom you can see everything the characters are feeling. 148

Audio:4/5The film’s audio was good. You could hear what the characters were saying even if at times you couldn’t hear everything I thought it was good.

I really enjoyed the film and would recommend it. And I will watch it again one day.

  24. The Vampire Psychopath

Hello!!! I liked the film but I still found it a little weird. The script is cool and really original but I still find that sometimes it is a bit long and sometimes it doesn’t happen much but when something happen it is really intriguing. So I give four stars for the scenario.
For the acting of the actors, I think they play really well. They embody really well their character for example for Oliver I find that it really seems that the actor is a psychopath. So I also give four stars for the acting.
For the visual I find it very very well, watching the film we really have the feeling to be with the actors, the decor was  really realistic. The light in the scene is really good for example in the castel, in the garden, in the pub…. I give four and a half stars for the visual.
For the audio I put three stars because I find that sometimes we have a little trouble hearing what he says and that when they are in pub or in a parti, the music was too stong.
So in summary I really liked the film it was very intriguing and very original, I’m not used to seeing movies like that, even if there were sometimes some weird scene.

  25. I closed my eyes during some scenes🫣

In my opinion, Saltburn is a once-in-a-lifetime film, but I wouldn’t enjoy watching it over and over again. The script is rather intriguing and I found the beginning too long and too slow, but I really enjoyed discovering the truth at the end of the film, even if it is sad (3/5 for the script). I think Oliver should see someone as soon as possible, because some of the scenes are not pretty to look at – it was quite disgusting! Despite a few unpleasant scenes, I thought the acting was excellent, I could feel the atmosphere of unease created by the actors, it was really impressive (5/5). I also really appreciated the visuals. The big old Saltburn house matched perfectly with the mood of the family (5/5 for the visuals). I don’t have much to say about the audio, so I’m giving it a 5/5. I wouldn’t advise sensitive souls to watch this film, but for those who enjoy movies that are a little weird and disturbing, don’t hesitate, go for it! This film was made for you !

  26. The hungry vampire

    Scenario: 3/5

    Acting: 4,5/5

    Visual: 4/5

    Audio: 4/5

Hello, here is my opinion about the movie Saltburn. The scenario was well thought out, but personally, I didn’t quite connect with the movie because it was a bit long and not always easy to understand. The plot was also somewhat strange, with bizarre scenes and the main character, who I find to be very odd as well.

I think the actors did a good job, and their performances were very convincing because their emotions seemed genuinely real, especially the main character, who I also think is a good actor.

The film had beautiful visuals, with stunning images that perfectly matched with the story. For example, dark scenes corresponded to darker moments, and there was a very good choice of images that made the film very well crafted.

The audio was really good, even though sometimes we heard some strange noises, but that added to the atmosphere of the film.

Overall, I think it’s an average film because it’s long and hard to understand but it’s stayed exciting the whole movie because you know something can happen at every moment but you don’t know what and that is for me really important to be a good movie.  I wouldn’t particularly recommend it because some scenes could shock people quickly but if you like strange movies or psychopaths movies than I recommend watching it.

  27. The most strange movie My opinion about Saltburn: The scenario is strange because in the beginning we don’t really understand, we are just mindfuck while watching this movie. It’s finally in the end that we understood. I give 5/5 at this movie but I think that the person had a problem for having the idea. The acting was really great. The person who play Olliver is really good. Playing someone deranged it’s difficult. When we see the family of Félix, they look like a real family who have a lot of money. So I give 5/5. The visual is impressive. The bath with de blood it’s really really realistic. Or de big party is realistic like in the life. And the most impressive is the scene where Olliver and Venetia had a sexual relation, the light show was beautiful. So I give 5/5 The audio is good. But I am disgusting about a some scene like Olliver when he drink the semen of Félix. The sound is not necessary. I give 3/5. Honestly, I like this movie but I will only watch it one time. Because it is a movie that’s worth watching and the deserve an award but at the same time it was REALLY strange. Lucie DP

  28. Creepy Quick

I find that movie really confusing. I don’t remember who produced it but either she likes stranger things (I know what you think and no I don’t make any reference to the series with Millie Bobby Brown) or she just likes to make people feel strange but in both cases that’s just disturbing. I give a 3 out of 5 for the scenario.

In contrast, I think the acting was excellent and I give a 5 out of 5 for it. It seems to me that the actor who plays Oliver Quick is really brave and talented to play such a creepy role and make it feel so natural on the screen. Also, Jacob Elordi (Felix) nicely surprised me. In « The Kissing Booth » I unliked his character so much that I didn’t even want to hear more about him as a real person while in Saltburn I completely changed my mind about him.

For the visual, I give a 3 out of 5. Saltburn is a beautiful place, unfortunately the people who lived there (and especially the only one left) were doing really ugly things in it. Besides the bathroom scene and the grave scene, there were also all those cheating, doing drugs, killing,… things. My eyes weren’t really enjoyed to see it if you know what I mean…

Finally, for the audio, I give a 4 out of 5 only because I loved the song playlist.
